A men's T-shirt built around John Lukic

John Lukic's goalkeeping career is closely shared by Leeds United and Arsenal. Born in Chesterfield to Serbian parents, he emerged at Leeds before Arsenal signed him in 1983. His first spell in north London included the 1987 League Cup victory and the dramatic 1989 league-title decider at Anfield, where a clean sheet allowed Michael Thomas's late goal to deliver the championship.

David Seaman's arrival took Lukic back to Leeds in 1990, and he won another English league title in 1992 as Howard Wilkinson's side held off Manchester United. He later returned to Arsenal as an experienced understudy, remaining part of squads in a changing goalkeeping era. Two title medals with different clubs capture the career neatly, but supporters also remember reliability, positional calm and a willingness to compete again after losing a place.
