The Kevin Keegan hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of the most beloved figure in the history of Newcastle United and one of the finest English footballers of his generation across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Kevin Keegan won the European Cup with Liverpool twice, was named the European Footballer of the Year in 1978 and 1979, and returned to Newcastle as manager to lead the most celebrated near-miss in Premier League history in 1995-96. For Newcastle supporters who lived through that title challenge and for Liverpool fans who watched the European Cup victories, this is the fan apparel.

Kevin Keegan joined Liverpool from Scunthorpe United in 1971 for £33,000 and spent six seasons at Anfield, winning the First Division three times, the FA Cup once and the European Cup in 1977. He joined Hamburg in 1977 for £500,000 and won the Bundesliga and the European Footballer of the Year twice. He joined Southampton and then Newcastle United, retiring in 1984. As manager of Newcastle, he led them to the First Division title in 1993 and to a twelve-point Premier League lead in January 1996 — which Manchester United overturned to win the title.
