The King Eric hoodie from Players Couture carries the royal title that Manchester United supporters bestowed on the player who transformed the club’s culture and started the dynasty across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Eric Cantona — King Eric — arrived at Old Trafford from Leeds United in November 1992 and within five seasons had changed the trajectory of the club entirely, winning four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and inspiring the Class of ‘92 who became the backbone of everything that followed. This is the title-name variant of his fan apparel — the name Old Trafford gave him, not the name on his passport.

Eric Cantona joined Manchester United from Leeds United in November 1992 for £1.2 million and spent five seasons at Old Trafford, winning four Premier League titles and two FA Cups. He was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 1994 and FWA Footballer of the Year twice. He was banned for eight months following an incident at Crystal Palace in 1995 and returned to produce arguably the finest season of his career. Sir Alex Ferguson credited him as the catalyst for everything United became after 1992.
