Mikey Lewis Hull KR Rugby League Icon Frame Kids T-Shirt
Why Mikey Lewis matters to Hull Kingston Rovers
Lewis progressed from Hull KR academy prospect to the creative face of the club’s modern rise. He was named the 2024 Man of Steel after leading Rovers to their first Super League Grand Final, then played a central role in the historic 2025 treble: Challenge Cup, League Leaders’ Shield and a first Super League title. His pressure conversion won the Wembley final 8-6 against Warrington.
Craven Park responds to the feint and acceleration because Lewis plays as if every defensive shoulder is there to be tested. Wearing the famous number six with the blessing of Roger Millward’s family linked the club’s greatest era to its new one; Lewis then helped turn that symbolism into silverware.
Mikey Lewis played primarily as a stand-off. That role is part of how supporters remember the career: the decisions made under pressure, the repeated work demanded by the position and the particular moments in which the player could change a match. The description deliberately concentrates on the achievements connected with the team named in this artwork, rather than mixing together unrelated chapters simply to lengthen the page.
For older supporters, the design can bring back a particular ground, final, away trip or season. For a younger fan, it can represent a player whose importance has been passed down through family stories and archive footage. That is the point of the Icon Frame collection: to make club history wearable without reducing it to a list of dates.
The Icon Frame design
The artwork uses a colourful, poster-inspired portrait held within a compact frame. At approximately 10cm high on the left chest, it has the character of a small collected sports print rather than an oversized front graphic. Fellow supporters can recognise the player and club connection, while the rest of the garment remains clean enough for regular wear.
The composition has been prepared for the available garment colours rather than placed on them as an afterthought. Dark bases create a more restrained streetwear finish; lighter and brighter colours bring different areas of the portrait forward. Small colour differences between a backlit screen and the finished print are normal, but the player, frame and left-chest placement remain consistent.
