Born on June 20, 2001, in Banjul, The Gambia, Nicolas Jackson's football journey is truly inspiring. He began his career with Casa Sports in Senegal before moving to Spain to join Villarreal CF's youth setup in 2019. After a loan spell at CD Mirandés in the Segunda División, Jackson returned to Villarreal and made his La Liga debut on October 3, 2021, in a 2–0 victory over Real Betis. He scored his first top-flight goal on August 13, 2022, opening the scoring in a 3–0 win against Real Valladolid.

In June 2023, Jackson signed an eight-year contract with Chelsea FC, marking the beginning of his Premier League journey. During the 2023–2024 season, he made 35 league appearances, netting 14 goals and providing 2 assists. His impressive performances continued into the 2024–2025 season, with 23 appearances, 9 goals, and 5 assists by April 2025.

On the international stage, Jackson debuted for the Senegal national team in 2022. He was part of the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. He scored his first international goal on October 11, 2024, in a 4–0 victory over Malawi during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
