For Brazil, Rivaldo was a major figure in one of the most exciting national teams ever assembled. He earned 74 caps and scored 35 goals for his country, helping Brazil reach the 1998 World Cup final and then playing a huge role in the famous 2002 World Cup-winning side. Alongside Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, Rivaldo formed part of an unforgettable attacking trio that defined an era.
