Roberto Baggio Juventus Hoodie | Players Couture

Roberto Baggio won the Ballon d'Or in 1993 while at Juventus, having been named the best player in the world in the same year as he won the UEFA Cup with the club. The Divine Ponytail's ability to dribble in tight spaces, his vision for the killer through-ball and his clinical finishing from inside and outside the box made him the most exciting Italian player of his generation — and one of the most gifted attacking players in the history of European football.

Baggio's Juventus years — between 1990 and 1995 — included a Serie A title in 1995 and consistent Champions League involvement with a club that was one of the strongest sides on the continent. His 115 goals for the club across all competitions reflected a player who was equally comfortable creating for others and finishing himself. His subsequent World Cup performances for Italy in 1994, when he carried his country to the final with a series of extra-time goals and then missed the decisive penalty in the shootout against Brazil, produced the single most memorable image of that tournament.
