Adam Wharton Crystal Palace Kids Hoodie | Players Couture

Adam Wharton made his Crystal Palace debut in February 2024 and was in the England squad for Euro 2024 by that summer. The pace of his rise from Championship football at Blackburn Rovers to starting a major international tournament for his country is one of the more remarkable individual stories in recent English football.

Wharton's performances at Selhurst Park in the first half of 2024 were consistently excellent — calm in possession, disciplined positionally, and mature beyond his years in the way he managed the tempo of games. His selection for England's Euro 2024 campaign was not a surprise to anyone who had watched him closely, but the speed with which he settled into Gareth Southgate's starting eleven at international level was. Crystal Palace had found a player of genuine top-level quality, and England had found a midfielder who looked entirely at home at the highest stage.
