In Pro Evolution Soccer's classic-player database, licensing restrictions gave Dunga the cult alias C.Mendonca. For players who spent hours editing squads or selecting the World and European Classics, that fictional name became part of the game's mythology. Behind it was Dunga: Dunga captained Brazil to the 1994 World Cup and later coached the national team, embodying the competitive steel around a gifted generation. His club career crossed Brazil, Italy, Germany and Japan, with Fiorentina and Stuttgart among the teams that valued his tactical intelligence.

Why the two names? The chest print uses C.Mendonca, the fictional classic-player name remembered from PES, while the footballer behind the avatar is Dunga. It is a small piece of gaming history for supporters who knew the player before every classic squad was fully licensed.
