Early Years: The 199th Pick
Brady played college football at the University of Michigan, but few scouts saw a future star. The New England Patriots picked him in the sixth round of the 2000 draft, 199th overall. Within two seasons he had taken over as starter and led the Patriots to victory in Super Bowl XXXVI, winning the game's MVP award.

The Breakthrough: A Dynasty in New England
Brady and coach Bill Belichick built the NFL's greatest dynasty. The Patriots won Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX to make it three titles in four years, and Brady was named league MVP in 2007 and 2010. Further rings followed in Super Bowl XLIX and, most famously, Super Bowl LI, when New England came back from 28–3 down against the Atlanta Falcons to win in overtime.

The Peak: Six Rings and Counting
A third MVP award came in 2017, and Super Bowl LIII brought a sixth title with the Patriots. In 2020, aged 43, Brady moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won Super Bowl LV in his first season, earning a record fifth Super Bowl MVP.
