Known as “Captain Marvel”, he made his name at West Bromwich Albion before becoming a Manchester United legend, captaining the club through a defining era. He later finished his playing career with Middlesbrough, where he also moved into management. Across his club career, Robson became known for his bravery, leadership, powerful running, goals from midfield and ability to influence the biggest matches.

For Manchester United, Robson won major honours including league titles, FA Cups, a League Cup and the European Cup Winners’ Cup. His legacy is built on more than trophies: he represented commitment, character and old-school football toughness. His England career was just as iconic. Robson earned 90 caps and scored 26 goals for his country, representing England at the 1982, 1986 and 1990 World Cups.
