Florian Wirtz Liverpool Kids Hoodie | Players Couture

Florian Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025, completing one of the most anticipated moves in European football after two seasons in which the German midfielder had established himself as the most creative player in the Bundesliga. His contribution to Leverkusen's unbeaten title-winning season in 2023-24 — in which the club went the entire campaign without losing — demonstrated a player whose touch, vision and ability to find space in the most congested situations placed him alongside the finest creative midfielders in Europe.

Wirtz arrived at Anfield with a reputation and the intelligence to back it up. His dribbling in tight spaces, his ability to find the pass that unlocks organised defences and his growing goal contribution made him the kind of player that Liverpool's system was built to maximise.
