Ole Gunnar Solskjaer built his playing career with Clausenengen, Molde and Manchester United, becoming best known for his time at Old Trafford. Nicknamed the Baby-Faced Assassin, he scored 126 goals in 366 Manchester United appearances and became a club legend through his instinctive finishing, calm personality and unforgettable late goals. His most iconic moment came in the 1999 European club football final, when he scored the stoppage-time winner against Bayern Munich to complete Manchester United’s historic Treble. He also won multiple Premier League titles, FA Cups and major honours during a golden era for the club.

For Norway, Solskjaer earned 67 caps and scored 23 goals. He represented his country at the 1998 World Cup in France, where Norway famously beat Brazil 2-1 in the group stage before reaching the last 16, and he also appeared at Euro 2000. His international career made him a favourite not only among Manchester United fans, but also among supporters of Norwegian football and collectors of classic World Cup football memories.
