The 1970 World Cup in Mexico gave the world the most celebrated team performance in the history of the tournament. Brazil in 1970 was Pele, Rivelino, Jairzinho, Tostao and Carlos Alberto playing a brand of football so beautiful and so effective that it has never been equalled. This Pele 1970 t-shirt from Players Couture celebrates the king of football at the peak of his powers. Fan apparel built around the greatest player in the history of the sport in his finest tournament.

Pele was 29 at the 1970 World Cup and at the absolute height of his powers. He had won the World Cup in 1958 and 1962. In 1970 he added a third, scoring four goals and being named the best player of the tournament. Brazil beat Italy 4-1 in the final. Pele's backheeled assist for Jairzinho's goal and his perfectly timed pass for Carlos Alberto's thundering fourth are two of the most celebrated moments in football history.
