The story behind the name
Sangaré began at Yeelen Olympique in Bamako before moving into the Red Bull Salzburg pathway and gaining senior experience across Austrian football. His performances for Rapid Wien and Lens revealed a midfielder able to carry through pressure, cover ground and create from advanced areas. After helping Lens to an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, the Mali international joined Brentford in a club-record move in 2026.
