Dirk Kuyt Hoodie — Liverpool's Dutch Workhorse

He wasn't the most technically gifted player in the squad. He didn't need to be. Dirk Kuyt was the most relentless, the most selfless and the most reliably hard-working forward Liverpool had for half a decade — and he scored hat-tricks too. His name on this hoodie belongs to a player whose heart was bigger than his limitations.

FA Cup winner 2006. 71 goals in 285 Liverpool appearances. 104 Netherlands caps. Champions League final appearance 2007.

Dirk Kuyt joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in 2006 and spent six seasons on Merseyside — pressing, winning the ball back, creating chances and chipping in with goals of varying degrees of improbability. His hat-trick against Manchester United in 2011, including three penalties, was a defining Anfield night. For the Netherlands he won 104 caps and was a member of the squad that reached the 2010 World Cup final. A player who gave everything on every pitch he ever stood on.
