London Broncos T-Shirt – A Tribute to Rugby League's London Pioneers
Celebrate one of rugby league's pioneering southern clubs with the London Broncos T-Shirt from Players Couture, honouring a team that has spent over four decades proving the sport can thrive outside its heartlands.
Rugby League's London Story
Founded in 1980 as Fulham RLFC, the club became the first professional rugby league side based in the capital in the modern era, playing its early fixtures at Craven Cottage. Renamed London Crusaders and later the Broncos, the club reached the 1999 Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, one of the biggest days in its history, and has competed across Super League and the Championship in the decades since, developing a reputation for nurturing young talent that has gone on to represent England.
Now based at Trailfinders Sports Ground in Ealing, the Broncos remain rugby league's flag-bearer in the south, carrying on a job that's never been easy – building a fanbase for a heartland sport hundreds of miles from where it's followed most passionately.
This tee is for anyone who has followed the club through its ups and downs, or who simply respects what it takes to grow rugby league beyond the M62 corridor.
