The Rivaldo hoodie from Players Couture carries the name of one of the most gifted left-sided forwards of his generation across the chest in bold lettering, contrasting colour, made to order when you place yours. Rivaldo won the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year award in 1999, won the FIFA World Cup with Brazil in 2002, and was the creative force at Barcelona that turned the club into La Liga’s dominant force in the late 1990s.

Rivaldo joined Barcelona from Deportivo de la Coruña in 1997 and spent five seasons winning two La Liga titles. In the 1998-99 season he scored 47 goals in all competitions and was named both the FIFA World Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or winner. His final Barcelona match in 2002 produced one of the most memorable individual performances in La Liga history: a hat-trick including a last-minute overhead bicycle kick to seal a European club football place. At the 2002 World Cup he scored five goals, including a brace in the semi-final against Turkey, as Brazil won the tournament for a record fifth time.
