The story behind the name

Josimar José Évora Dias—known throughout football as Vozinha—built a career across Cape Verde, Angola, Moldova and Portugal while becoming the trusted goalkeeper of his national team. He was central to Cape Verde's Africa Cup of Nations runs and their historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup. At forty, his performances on the sport's biggest stage made him a global story and rewarded years spent representing the Blue Sharks with authority and pride.
