Holy Trinity Everton Hoodie | Players Couture

Colin Harvey, Alan Ball and Howard Kendall — the Holy Trinity — formed the midfield of the Everton side that won the First Division title in 1969-70 and are celebrated at Goodison Park as three of the most important players in the club’s modern history. Their combination of Harvey’s technique, Ball’s energy and Kendall’s composure gave Harry Catterick’s team a midfield that the most competitive division in the world could not consistently dominate.

The statue of the Trinity outside Goodison ensures that every generation of Everton supporters understands what they represented. Kendall’s return as manager to win two more league titles and the Cup Winners’ Cup deepened the connection. Everton’s most celebrated era was built around three players who understood completely what the club required of them.
