Jurgen Klinsmann is one of the best German strikers of the modern era. A goalscorer of genuine quality, a player who thrived in Germany, Italy, England and France, and a man whose performances at the 1990 and 1994 World Cups established him as one of the most feared forwards in international football. This Klinsmann hoodie from Players Couture is for fans who remember him at his best and want to wear a tribute to a striker who delivered on the biggest stages. Klinsmann was born in Goppingen, Germany, in 1964 and came through the German football system before joining VfB Stuttgart, where he developed into one of the best strikers in the Bundesliga. Internazionale signed him and he spent two seasons in Serie A before returning to Germany. Tottenham brought him to England in 1994 and he immediately became one of the most popular players in the Premier League, finishing as the FWA Footballer of the Year in his debut season despite Spurs finishing seventh. His celebratory dives — a parody of the diving he had been accused of — endeared him to English supporters in a way that no foreign player had managed since Ossie Ardiles.

At the 1990 World Cup in Italy, Klinsmann was part of the West Germany squad that won the tournament, beating Argentina in the final. At the 1994 World Cup in the United States, he was Germany's most important player, scoring five goals as Germany reached the quarter-finals before losing to Bulgaria. He also scored six goals at the 1988 European Championship. He earned 108 caps for Germany and scored 47 international goals, making him one of the most prolific strikers in the history of the national team.
