Dion Dublin Coventry City Hoodie | Players Couture

Dion Dublin spent four seasons at Coventry City from 1994 to 1998, scoring 61 goals in all competitions and establishing himself as one of the most effective target men in the Premier League during a period when the club maintained their top-flight status against the odds. His combination of aerial presence, strength and finishing made him difficult to defend, and his goals kept Coventry in the Premier League through several seasons where relegation had seemed possible.

Dublin joined Villa Park from Coventry in 1998, but his legacy at the Sky Blues was the performances that kept them competitive year after year. He later scored a hat-trick against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup that remains a favourite memory for supporters who followed the club through those mid-1990s years. His career also included international recognition with England, confirmation that his consistent Premier League form was being appreciated at the highest level.
