Kaka was the most elegant footballer of his generation. At his absolute best, he was the best player in the world. The 2007 Ballon d'Or winner. The player whose Milan team of 2007 is considered one of the finest Champions League-winning sides of the modern era. The Brazil number 10 who played with a grace and a spirituality that made him something more than just a footballer. This Kaka hoodie from Players Couture is for fans who watched him play and appreciated the particular beauty of what he produced. Fan apparel celebrating one of football's most beloved figures.

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, known universally as Kaka, was born in Brasilia in 1982 and came through the Sao Paulo academy. AC Milan signed him in 2003 and for the next six years he was their most important player. He combined technical precision with a pace and power that made him difficult to stop in full flow and a spirituality and humility that made him one of the most respected figures in the game. He won the Serie A title with Milan in 2004 and the Champions League in 2007, producing one of the great individual tournament performances in the competition's history. He scored ten goals across the campaign, dismantling Manchester United with a display at Old Trafford in the quarter-final that remains one of the great individual performances in Champions League history.

He won the Ballon d'Or in 2007, beating Messi and Ronaldo, at a time when both were already established as extraordinary talents. Real Madrid paid £56 million for him in 2009 and his career at the Bernabeu was unfortunately limited by injuries that prevented him from producing the football he had shown at Milan. He returned to Milan and then moved to MLS with Orlando City. For Brazil, he was a key figure at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups and one of the most celebrated players in the country's history since his retirement. This hoodie features him in the Brazil yellow.
